ENVIRONMENT ARTIST

Gamera Interactive is on the hunt for an Environment Artist to join the team at our HQ in Padova, Italy. As an Environment Artist you will:

- Create high quality 3D assets, textures and visual effects, building super cool 3D environments and shaping both real-time and baked lighting and custom shaders
- Work collaboratively with an experienced team of passionate game developers

 We're looking for someone who has:

- A good understanding of Unity Engine
- A love for RPG games & old school isometric stuff
- English language fluency (written/spoken)
- A positive attitude enthusiasm for your job and responsiveness to any situation - Ability to devise creative lighting solutions

 It’s a bonus if you have:

- Knowledge of Xbox One workflow and TRCs
- Other discipline experience such as scripting or other technical experience 

TECHNICAL ARTIST

Gamera Interactive is on the hunt for an Environment Artist to join the team at our HQ in Padova, Italy. As a Technical Artist you will:

- Work closely with the Art team in a proactive problem-solving support role
- Working primarily in Unity 3D and Autodesk Maya, you would be expected to develop and maintain tools that can improve the efficiency of the art team

We're looking for someone who has:

- Great communication skills
- Problem solving, can-do attitude
- Solid game art skills (modelling, texturing, lighting)
- Good knowledge of Unity 3D - Experience in Maya and Photoshop
- English language fluency (written/spoken)
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm for your job and responsiveness to any situation

It’s a bonus if you have:

- Knowledge of Xbox One workflow and TRCs
- Other discipline experience such as scripting or other technical experience
- Experience with rigging and animation systems
- Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- A love for RPG games & old school isometric stuff

LIGHTING ARTIST

Gamera Interactive is on the hunt for a Lighting Artist to join the team at our HQ in Padova, Italy. As a Lighting Artist you will:

- Work with the Game Director, Art Director and Artists to keep artistic style & mood consistent with our defined visual style for the game
- Collaborate with the Design Team to maintain gameplay requirements, and with Tech Art to manage a balance between aesthetic quality and performance requirements
- Maintain quality, efficiency and consistency across your work

We're looking for someone who has:

- Great artistic knowledge and ability to devise creative lighting solutions
- Strong understanding of art fundamentals and design
- Great technical knowledge of how to do lighting in game engines such as Unity 3D (Unreal Engine experience also appreciated)
- Good communication ability to receive and provide clear feedback
- Passion for game development
- English language fluency (written/spoken)
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm for your job and responsiveness to any situation

It’s a bonus if you have:

- Strong traditional art skills or photography
- Good understanding of physically based rendering
- Experience working in small focused teams
- Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies

UI ARTIST

Gamera Interactive is on the hunt for a UI Artist to join the team at our HQ in Padova, Italy. As a UI Artist you will:

- Work with the Game Director, Art Director and Artists to keep artistic style & mood consistent with our defined visual style for the game, helping conceptualize and implement visually compelling and highly intuitive interface designs, ranging from player HUDs, in-world interactive 2D and 3D assets, front-end menus, and inventory systems.
- Test, assess, and refine UI ideas with internal teams, as well as targeted player focus tests
- Collaborate with Engineering team to ensure UI assets are authored in a consistent manner to hit memory and rendering performance targets
- Support additional graphic design efforts to for studio and game specific branding and iconography
- Maintain quality, efficiency and consistency across your work

We're looking for someone who has:

- Professional background as a UI/UX designer in games
- Portfolio demonstrating a breadth of visual creativity in both interface and graphic design
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail for both technical quality and file and resource organization
- Experience with 2D Design software (Photoshop and Illustrator) with knowledge of applications such as After Effects, Maya/3DSMax or Flash
- Good communication ability to receive and provide clear feedback
- Passion for game development
- English language fluency (written/spoken)
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm for your job and responsiveness to any situation

- Motion graphics, 3D, or VFX experience
